Established in 2008

The owners, Mike and Sheila Castell-Spence, saw the potential of bringing the EcoDepo product to New Zealand after meeting the founder, Tom Fairbairn while in Ireland. The innovative design had won many awards and made the whole concept of recycling much easier and also exciting for both the commercial sector and households who were looking for a neat and tidy recycling system which also looked good visually.
 
Since 2008, EcoPods NZ has now grown and provides recycling solutions to many of New Zealand’s public and private organisations, both large and small, helping them manage their varied waste streams and keep waste out of landfill.
 
Since taking it to New Zealand, EcoDepo is now to be found worldwide including the USA , Canada, Russia, Ireland and the United Kingdom, as well as many European countries. EcoPods NZ also holds the distributorship for Australia.
 
EcoDepo is a light and durable waste organiser. It is versatile and adaptable and can be placed in station like positions in any workplace. The Ecopod uses colour coded reusable bags. It provides the means to manage, measure, control and at the same time tidy different waste streams.
 
So 10 years on, the way forward continues to be as exciting with additional innovative products having been designed by the founder to complement the original EcoPods. These will further enhance the recycling experience and help meet the desires and objectives of all who want a clean environment, for themselves, for their children and for future generations.
